Just Semantics…

I closed my last post by noting that we are in the second phase of the internet in which we are connecting to each other, rather than just connecting to IT. However, that does beg the question of what’s next? Well, now we are connecting to everything as well as everyone. From your refrigerator to an electronic component on an assembly line – these devices now can tell us things about themselves via the internet and provide new value and service to us along the way.
